Kappa Alpha Theta's Flapjack & Quarterbacks

It's that time of year! Kappa Alpha Theta with help from our friends Lambda Chi Alpha are hosting our annual flag-football tournament AND pancake breakfast to fundraise for ABC Head Start!

How much? Pancake breakfast is $5, but teams eat free!

What else is there??
Expect a performance from the U of A Dance Team, a silent auction with awesome prizes, a 50/50 raffle (bring your change!) and side activities. Also a LIVE DJ: Max Schafer aka DJ Instinct!!!

WHAT IS ABC HEAD START YOU MAY ASK?

ABC Head Start is a local Edmonton organization that provides preschool programs and resources for children from low income families. These children depend on the support of the community and people like yourselves!

This year we will not only be collecting monetary donations but also any school supplies for ABC Head Start. So even if you don't want to participate drop by with some supplies for the children for our box!

We want YOU to help us fundraise. The team that collects the most donations for ABC Head Start wins a prize!

There will also be prizes for first place, sportsmanship, and best dressed.
The ladies of Kappa Alpha Theta are super excited for this years tournament and cannot wait to see all of your beautiful faces on October 1st.

Chapter Pride

Now that you’ve seen the house and chitchatted with some of the girls, here’s your opportunity to see, fundamentally, what makes each chapter unique from the other Panhellenic Women’s Fraternities, especially what each Chapter is proud of. You’ll hear about the events they host, how member dues are set up and budgeted, as well as their specific history. As the girls are getting to know you, get to know the girls you’re talking to as well!
Note: This is also the last night to register for Formal Recruitment 2016.

Philanthropy Day

After all the information that you’ve acquired over the past few days of Recruitment, here’s a little bit more! Each sorority has a philanthropy, an organization or cause they raise money for and seek volunteer opportunity in. Throughout our campus, we support each other by attending their events and, ultimately, having fun! You’ll keep busy talking to girls and doing activities related to their philanthropy. Feel free to ask members why their chapter’s philanthropy is important to them!
